Benteler Mechanical Engineering is an internationally successful supplier to the automotive and glass industry, and is subdivided into four segments. Glass Processing offers machines and facilities for processing architectural, automotive, and solar glass – from fully automatic lines to the individual machine. The Mechanical Engineering Automotive segment develops and produces facilities for the production of chassis and structural components. Bending lines, welding equipment with diverse joining technologies, and special facilities can also be supplied.

In Toolmaking, we design and manufacture hot-formed tools for press parts as well as close-to-production prototypes. In the Optical Measuring Systems segment, Benteler Mechanical Engineering develops and delivers optical 3-D measuring equipment based on lasers or cameras which can monitor components with diverse geometries and materials contact-free. All four segments of Benteler Mechanical Engineering offer development and production competence at the highest level.
