Our performance spectrum includes diverse manufacturing competencies such as deep drawing or hydroforming.
Secure mobility for the future
We see the discussion about global climate protection as both a challenge and an incentive, using our products and knowledge to contribute to the reduction of emissions and fuel consumption and thus conforming to future CO2 limit values. We therefore support the future trends of direct injection and the downsizing of internal combustion engines to make engines that are lighter, smaller, and more efficient.
Quality and technology
We rely on a broad spectrum of joining processes for highest product quality. These include hard soldering, with which we achieve extremely corrosion-resistant and permanent joints. Furthermore, our stainless-steel fuel tubes are suitable for modern biofuels, such as ethanol admixtures. Benteler Automotive has also systematically advanced and developed the hydroforming of tubes as one of the most important forming technologies. This method facilitates a freer configuration of complex tube geometries and a more efficient use of available installation space, a robust design, and a reduction in the amount of waste heat lost as a result of the air gap isolation in exhaust system components.
The Engine and Exhaust Systems Product Group has established itself as a specialist in the fields of drive, heat, and energy management. We nevertheless continually enhance our competencies and work together with our customers on new concepts to make the car of tomorrow even better.
