In close cooperation with our customers, Benteler Steel/Tube develops new materials and solutions for a wide variety of applications in cars and trucks that must frequently meet special component requirements. For example, our high-end diesel injection lines withstand pressures of 2,000 bars, while safety-relevant parts like air bag tubes combine high burst pressures with ductility at low temperatures. For reduced weight, our high-strength hollow steel shafts are a dependable alternative to solid material.
