The Handelsblatt has launched the GENIUS Award, “Germany’s New Mobility & Connectivity Award”.BENTELER is an official partner of the award and entitled to nominate one jury member – that person is Oliver Lang, memeber of the management board BENTELER Automotive. By supporting this award BENTELER is strengthening its contacts to start-ups and potential cooperation partners.

Rising pressure to innovate, rapid technological change and ever more complex requirements – the demand for new solutions in the mobility sector is ongoing. The best ideas and concepts in e-mobility and vehicle connectivity are getting a new showcase, in the shape of the first GENIUS Award, to be presented in Berlin on October 11 this year. This is an initiative of the German-language business newspaper Handelsblatt, and BENTELER is a partner of the award. Oliver Lang, member of the Management Board of BENTELER Automotive is a jury member.

The kick-off to the GENIUS Award met with a lot of response: in total, more than 90 start-ups, established companies, as well as local authorities and associations have submitted their applications for the award.

"By participating in the GENIUS Award, we strengthen contact with start-ups and potential cooperation partners. For example, start-ups stand for speed and agility", explains Oliver Lang, member of the Management Board of BENTELER Automotive, who represents BENTELER in the jury. "New impulses help us to further increase our innovative power", adds Oliver Lang.
