Progress with thick-walled torsion profiles:
Our driven professionals invented an innovative torsion axis with a specific resistant, open profile that could not be produced before. Thanks to decades of metal processing expertise, our team in Paderborn, Germany has developed the perfect solution for our customer. Meanwhile we manufacture the new profile in series - and in perfect quality.
Grace Hu is one of the 30,000-strong family of driven professionals benefiting from tailor-made training programs. Grace, director of Quality Department Asia/Pacific, was taking part in the “Talent Circle” and “Managers of Tomorrow” training initiatives. For over two years now she has been Plant Manager of BENTELER Automotive in Changchun, China. “Even after 20 years in the sector I can still learn things at BENTELER,” says Hu.
Marcos Luis do Val:
From financial analyst to project manager: Marcos Luis do Val has been working for our Automotive Division in Brazil since 2000. His career has taken him through all finance departments. An exciting time in which he says he grew personally and also developed his professional skills.
In our plant in Puebla we produce aluminium rear suspensions for a well-known German car manufacturer. The successful start of production was only possible through the cooperation of Mexican and German colleagues. Thanks to this great teamwork there has not been a customer complaint to date. We congratulate the entire team for this achievement - we make it happen!
At our French Automotive plant in Louviers, we now press and drill profiles with just one tool. The result: fewer tool changes, lower costs, faster production and thus a clear added value for our customers. This innovative solution was made possible by the cooperation of colleagues from different areas. Because teamwork is part of our corporate culture.
Uta Hilbert-Glaser works in the BENTELER HR department. Within this she has been in charge of employee development programs, the HR Controlling and the HR IT. Also for BENTELER in the USA where she launched a global standards agenda for Northern America. An exciting time in which she says she grew personally and also developed her professional skills.
Katarzyna Szamer-Kumor is one of our 30,000 driven professionals. She has been working in the automotive industry for over 16 years. And for about six months she has been running our automotive plant in Września, Poland. According to her, this is the perfect place to realize individual potential.
In Chennai, India, an engineering team has been supporting our Automotive Division for ten years with designs, CAD drawings and simulations. Through regional expertise and worldwide knowledge transfer, we ensure the highest possible product quality for our customers. Congratulations to our colleagues from India on their 10th anniversary.
Identifying and promoting talent is a win-win for both sides. So it was with Daniel Wienhusen. He started his career at BENTELER with a combined studies program, for which he first needed to pass an apprenticeship. Then followed a bachelor´s degree, a master´s, and key account management. It all paid off: Since 2016 Daniel has been in charge of Industry 4.0 at BENTELER Automotive.
Top quality and an A-rating from our customers - our Chinese automotive location in Changchun is a showcase plant. The plant received the "BENTELER Best Plant Quality Award 2018" for the outstanding performance of its local colleagues. Congratulations!
Our Team in Russia:
For twenty years, the engineering team at our Veliky Novgorod location supports the Automotive Division. It conducts complete calculations, evaluates simulations and produces the associated reports in the field of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE). Through internal knowledge transfer and cooperation, we ensure the highest product quality for our customers.
