BENTELER GLASS PROCESSING EQUIPMENT receives “Contribution Award” at China Glass

Peking/Bielefeld, May 22, 2019. For the 25th time BENTELER Glass Processing Equipment took part at the China Glass in Beijing. BENTELER was awarded the coveted "Contribution Award" for this anniversary. China Glass is considered the leading Asian trade fair for the glass industry. Over 800 exhibitors from 23 countries presented their latest developments on over 55,000 square meters.

Well over half of all visitors came from abroad. This shows the growing international significance of the fair. "The Chinese economic area still offers many opportunities that we will continue to work on in terms of our strategic orientation. China Glass, with its role as the leading trade fair, has once again confirmed its role for the glass industry in Asia. It is of central importance for us to maintain existing customer relationships and make new customer contacts", says Peter Oswald, Managing Director Sales and Service BENTELER Glass Processing Equipment.

The strategic orientation is reflected in the fact that BENTELER Glass Processing Equipment has also been manufacturing directly in China since the beginning of the year. "The production in China gives us the opportunity to act more quickly and to meet growing demand," explains Oswald.
