BENTELER has made great progress with the modernization of its Valladares plant

Vigo, March 10, 2023. BENTELER has made great progress in its project to modernize its Valladares plant in Vigo, Spain, as the Vice President of the Xunta de Galicia, Francisco Conde López, personally witnessed during his visit to the plant on March 10, 2023. The ultimate goal of this project is the design and development of a connected, versatile, sustainable and agile production plant.

BENTELER in Valladares is digitizing the entire plant: Big Data and artificial intelligence techniques ensure automation and standardization along the entire value chain to deliver first-class products to customers. At the same time, the plant is turning towards sustainability.  For example, with the installation of solar thermal panels, the BENTELER plant will significantly reduce its productive carbon emissions. In addition, a "zero water" project is being considered to reduce water consumption.
