BENTELER plant in Kleinenberg celebrates 60th anniversary with family party
Kleinenberg, August 26, 2024. BENTELER celebrated the 60th anniversary of its automotive plant in Kleinenberg (Germany) with a family party. Around 850 guests, primarily employees and their families, enjoyed the varied program on the factory grounds. While children let off steam on the bouncy castle, teenage guests had the opportunity to find out about training and career prospects at BENTELER. Guests also had the chance to get to a close look at the site with guided tours of the plant.
Bernhard Hillekes, Plant Manager Kleinenberg stated: “Our Kleinenberg plant has been a reliable partner in the region for 60 years, always striving to develop further. This milestone is the result of the exceptional performance and commitment of our employees. We can be proud of what we have achieved and will continue to use our innovative strength in the future to constantly develop new solutions for our customers and drive the site forward.”
Drivetrain-agnostic production in Kleinenberg
BENTELER produces engine components at the Kleinenberg site. With the construction of a new warehouse and distribution center in summer 2018, the plant has transformed from a component manufacturer to a system specialist in recent years. This transformation has come about as car manufacturers outsource more and more of their own systems to suppliers. As a global supplier, BENTELER has embraced this challenge and supports its customers with fast and agile logistics.
The products at the site include modules for exhaust gas recirculation and fuel distribution systems. Parts for conventional combustion engines as well as thermal management components for hybrid and electric vehicles are produced, in line with BENTELER's drivetrain-agnostic portfolio.
