The BENTELER Group is acquiring ioki GmbH, the leading European provider of software-based mobility solutions, from Deutsche Bahn AG.

BENTELER has completed a comprehensive modernization of its casthouse at the Raufoss Industrial Park. The expanded production facilities were officially opened at an inauguration ceremony attended by representatives from BENTELER’s management team, employees, and partners from the industrial park and supply chain.

An important milestone for HOLON: The company has received approval for the HOLON urban from the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) in accordance with §16 AF-GBV (Autonomous Vehicles Approval and Operation Ordinance). With this approval, HOLON will be able to test the shuttle in autonomous driving mode (AD) with a safety driver throughout Germany.

On Saturday, BENTELER once again opened the doors of its training center – and the response was overwhelmingly positive. More than 1,300 visitors came to the company’s Training and Development Center in Paderborn.

The BENTELER Group has been awarded the Silver Medal by EcoVadis, the world's largest provider of sustainability ratings. In addition, BENTELER was recently honored with the Austria’s Leading Companies (ALC) Award in the sustainability category.
