BENTELER advances the digitalization of its Burgos plant with the SPDP INITIATIVES project

BENTELER ESPAÑA, S.A. continues to drive its digital transformation strategy through the development of the SPDP INITIATIVES project: a platform for the collection, storage, analysis, and visualization of industrial data, framed within the strategic plan “Digitalization of the BESA Burgos plant for adaptation to the 2030 Agenda and the electric vehicle.”

This project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union and by the Regional Government of Castilla y León, through the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICECYL), with the goal of promoting research, technological development, and innovation.

Smart data management for a more connected industry

The SPDP INITIATIVES project focuses on the development and implementation of an advanced digital platform designed to collect, store, analyze, and visualize industrial data in an integrated way.

This tool will provide a global, real-time view of the plant’s operations, facilitating data-driven decision-making and improving the efficiency of production processes.

Through intelligent data analysis, the platform will help optimize resources, anticipate potential issues, and reduce environmental impact, fully aligning with the sustainability goals set out in the 2030 Agenda.

Commitment to innovation and technological transformation

With this initiative, BENTELER strengthens its commitment to industrial digitalization and the transition toward a more sustainable and competitive production model.

The SPDP INITIATIVES project forms part of the company’s roadmap toward Industry 4.0, promoting the integration of digital technologies into the daily management of its operations.

Thanks to the support of the ERDF and the Regional Government of Castilla y León, BENTELER consolidates its role as a benchmark in innovation and industrial excellence, contributing to the strengthening of Castilla y León’s technological ecosystem and to the development of advanced solutions for the industry of the future.
