Three product categories for even more transparency
With the CliMore® brand, the Steel/Tube division brings together its low-carbon steels and steel tube products under a unified and distinctive product brand.
The CliMore label comprises three levels: Advantage, Ambition, and Excellence. Across all three levels, low-emission steel is produced using an electric arc furnace (EAF) and recycled scrap steel. This recycling process alone reduces CO₂ emissions by up to 75% compared to conventional steel production from iron ore via the traditional blast furnace route.
At the Ambition level, renewable electricity is additionally used in the tube mills and for operating the electric arc furnace. This results in CO₂ emission savings of up to 85%.
The highest level, Excellence, goes one step further by utilizing biomethane as an energy source for process heat in steelmaking and tube manufacturing. Looking ahead, it also incorporates the use of green hydrogen and the further electrification of production facilities.

Products from our CliMore® range are supplied with certified product-related emission certificates. The PCF calculation tool we use to determine product-related CO2 emissions takes all significant emissions into account in accordance with ISO14067 and has been certified by the company GUTcert. The certification covers the product life cycle from production to the factory gate.
For our customers, that means precise and consistent CO2 calculations that they can rely on. In this way, we increase transparency for our customers and support them in achieving their own sustainability goals.
