We manage that. Because we know the material. We’ve worked with it for almost 150 years. But we aren’t satisfied with our knowledge – in our materials laboratory in Paderborn, we constantly investigate the properties and manufacturing possibilities of metal, developing new high-strength steels ourselves and analysing possible applications for aluminium. This enables us to offer you the optimum material for your needs with perfectly matched properties – even if it didn't exist before.

This allows us to define exactly which properties a material should have for optimal treatment in our own manufacturing processes.
