BENTELER Charity Golf Tournament 2026: Around $70,000 for Families in Need

Shreveport, October 20, 2026. In the BENTELER Group’s anniversary year, the company has shown once again that business success and social responsibility go hand in hand. The fifth annual charity golf tournament organized by the BENTELER Steel/Tube division raised around $70,000 for a good cause. The funds will benefit Providence House, an organization that provides temporary housing for families facing difficult circumstances.

The tournament was again held at the StoneBridge Golf Club in Bossier City near Shreveport, where BENTELER Steel/Tube operates a steel tube mill. More than 40 teams took part in two sold-out flights. The enthusiastic response and generous support from customers, suppliers, and partners made the event a special highlight of the company’s anniversary year.

Making a difference together: BENTELER is a strong partner in the community

“This year we’re celebrating 150 years of BENTELER – pioneering spirit in motion. We are proud to see the difference we can make together and the tremendous willingness to join forces in supporting people in our community. We’re extremely grateful for that,” said Denise Reynolds, Chair of the Tournament Committee and Executive Assistant at BENTELER Steel/Tube Shreveport.

Cortland Jones, Director of Integrated Services & Community Engagement of Providence House, also praised the long-standing partnership with BENTELER: “BENTELER Steel/Tube’s continued support means so much to our families. It helps us create hope and new opportunities. The need continues to grow: More than 90 families are currently waiting for housing. At the same time, we are planning to construct a new building because our existing facility urgently needs to be replaced or expanded.”

Since the tournament was first held, BENTELER Steel/Tube has raised substantial funds for Providence House, providing lasting support for the local community. It’s a powerful example of what can be achieved when people come together for a good cause.
