BENTELER REWARDS IDEAS-GENERATORS

Salzburg/Paderborn, April 10th, 2017. It pays to be clever: The 45 most engaged and most successful ideas-generators were honored in an annual event to conclude the year´s result from the BENTELER suggestion scheme. The event was held in March in the BENTELER Arena. In total over 9,600 suggestions for improvement were submitted by BENTELER employees in Germany in 2016 – that´s another year-on-year increase, and as such another all-time high in the history of the BENTELER suggestion scheme. The scheme is intended as a vehicle for employees to suggest ways of improving processes, increasing efficiency and thereby achieving cost-savings for the company.

The high point of the event was the draw for ten high-value prizes. The main prize – a new Mini – went to Frank Iseke from the BENTELER plant in Schloss Neuhaus.
