BENTELER and it's OWL – a strong partnership

Active promotion

it's OWL stands for a successful technology transfer with a focus on medium-sized businesses. The promotion of five new projects will start in December. More than 20 companies and research institutes are once again developing possibilities and procedures that make Industry 4.0 tangible. The country is providing funding amounting to nine million euros. The same amount comes from the industry.

In the technology network Intelligent Technical Systems OstWestfalenLippe - in short it's OWL - more than 180 companies, universities and other partners joined forces in 2011. Awarded a top cluster by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), intelligent technical systems are being developed in 47 research projects and Industry 4.0 has become a reality.
